ABOUT US
Two Fish Ministries came to conception in the Spring of 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 shutdowns as Dave brainstormed ideas on how to provide care for societies’ most vulnerable. Christians are called to care for widows, orphans and relieve the oppressed. Dave’s passion to serve, combined with his skills as a handyman, propel 2 Fish Ministries to build God’s Kingdom by serving and witnessing in service projects to the communities of the partnering churches.

David Ponsford FounderDave was born under a Baptist Church pew in 1976 and has been a believer his entire life. A husband to a wonderful wife and father to three smart and beautiful daughters, he has served the public as a school teacher and coach for the past 26 years. 2 Fish Ministries offers Dave an opportunity to serve the Kingdom by caring for societies most vulnerable by offering up his hands with his serving skills.

Brad Becktel Board Member
Brad has served in the church for most of his life, giving his time and talents. This has been a major part of his life. He has extensive experience in customer service and currently works for the Cherry Creek School District in the Food and Nutrition Department.

Jim Weidmann Board Member
Jim Weidmann seeks to know God and make God known by educating, equipping and encouraging men to be spiritual leaders in their sphere of influence so as to make God known. Jim has enjoyed over 40 years of marriage to his wife, Janet. They have four children and thirteen grandchildren.

JP Pellegrino Board Member
JP was born again in Christ in April of 2013, and since then, he has been on fire for Jesus. In addition to his role with 2 Fish Ministries, he is also active with various online ministries and his church. He is passionate about 2 Fish and views this ministry as a great way to spread God’s Kingdom here on earth.
